The point of a slide is that there is no decision in it. You step in on the way out the door and that is the entire process, which in hot weather is most of what you want from footwear.
They are the shoe you wear when you are not thinking about shoes, which turns out to be most of the summer.
Relaxed and unbothered are two different looks, and footwear is what decides which one you are wearing.
There are three parts, and all three matter
The footbed is the whole product. It is moulded rather than flat, which is what stops a slide from feeling like a plank with a strap on it.

The cut is identical in all five. The colour decides the job: the neutrals go under everything and behave, and the rest are the ones that make a plain outfit look chosen.

Take your usual size. The footbed is cut with a little room front and back, so the foot sits inside the edge rather than on it.

Yes. There is nothing in them that minds water, which is most of the point of owning a pair.
